In
this blog, a discussion on the design of reinforced concrete members
using Limit state method (LSM) is given. The discussion is based on
the provisions of The Indian Standard Code of Practice for Plain and
Reinforced Concrete : IS 456: 2000
Details
about Working stress method is also given in chapter 2. This is to
give a basic idea about the behaviour of Reinforced concrete.
